A workshop was held on 3 February 2022 in the premises of the Bua Yai Child Development Center in Bua Yai subdistrict to introduce the concepts of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) to the villagers and relevant agencies in the area. Furthermore, the workshop was also geared towards introducing pilot demonstration site selection methods through a participatory manner.
This workshop/consultation was organized to strengthen the cooperation between the TA team and key stakeholders, especially the officials at Nan Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives, Agricultural Extension Office, Community Development Office in Na Noi District, Bua Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and villagers in Bua Yai subdistrict.
This consultation ensured that the locals absorb basic knowledge of CSA practices and implementation, along with getting on board with the site selection for demonstrating the CSA practices and participation in the same.
